Kim is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar who is dedicated to delivering client-centred care and forming a strong therapeutic relationship with individuals across the lifespan. She has background in delivering therapeutic care to children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various degrees of complexity with their mental health. Kim is passionate about supporting individuals manage the various challenges life presents, and has a professional interest in working with individuals who are experiencing a range of mental health concerns including interpersonal difficulties, low self-esteem, grief and loss, stress and anger management, mood disorders, anxiety and phobias, adjustment disorders, delusional disorders, unresolved trauma, self-harm, chronic pain, as well as addiction. In her professional work, Kim prioritises the invaluable nature of a therapeutic relationship and thus is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental, and respectful space for individuals to explore their current difficulties and past experiences. Kim draws upon diverse evidence-based therapeutic modalities to cater to individuals’ needs and therapy goals including Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Informed Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, as well as attachment and psychodynamic-based approaches. Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, working out at the gym, and anything to do with FOOD.
