Courtney is a registered psychologist with clinical experience working with children, adolescence, adults and families. She has experience with a variety of presenting concerns including depression, anxiety disorders, interpersonal difficulties, low self-esteem, grief and loss, trauma, stress and anger management and emotional regulation difficulties. Courtney adopts a person-centred approach with a focus on the therapeutic alliance to foster a safe space to support the client to share and explore their presenting concerns. She also works from a strengths-based, values approach to support the client to move towards living a more meaningful life. She draws upon a variety of evidence-based psychological interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Informed Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness to support the client in achieving their goals.
