Gretta Little

Director; BA (hons), M.Psych (Clin), MAPS

Clinical Psychologist

Gretta is a clinical psychologist. Gretta approaches each client as an individual, tailoring interventions within their unique history and circumstances. Gretta works with children, adolescents, adults and older adults using cognitive behavioural, acceptance and commitment and schema therapies as well as applied behavioural analysis. Gretta has vast experience with clients across the lifespan.

Courtney Barton

Registered Psychologist

Courtney is a registered psychologist with clinical experience working with children, adolescence, adults and families. She has experience with a variety of presenting concerns including depression, anxiety disorders, interpersonal difficulties, low self-esteem, grief and loss, trauma, stress and anger management and emotional regulation difficulties. Courtney adopts a person-centred approach with a focus on the therapeutic alliance to foster a safe space to support the client to share and explore their presenting concerns. She also works from a strengths-based, values approach to support the client to move towards living a more meaningful life. She draws upon a variety of evidence-based psychological interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Informed Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness to support the client in achieving their goals.

Joseph De Cotta

Psychologist

Joe De Cotta is a Psychologist and has spent 20 years working in the community services sector as well as within various maximum security prisons in Western Australia. He has experience working in diverse Forensic areas such as family violence, drug rehabilitation, emotional management and sexual offending. Typically, Joe works from a strength based perspective which focuses on cultivating an individual’s own resilience and inner strength as a means of achieving wellness. In an increasingly secular world, Joe is comfortable and proficient at working within an individual’s spiritual, religious or cultural belief system. He has a professional interest in the intersection between Psychology and Spirituality and is inspired by the transpersonal movement. During the counselling process Joe adopts a values based approach and utilises Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotions Focused Therapy and Mindfulness/Somatic Based Therapies.

Dr Jemma Dessauvagie

Jemma is a registered psychologist with experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. She has had clinical experience working with a wide range of presenting concerns, including mood and anxiety symptoms, interpersonal difficulties, identity and/or adjustment stress, grief and loss, substance misuse and trauma. Jemma has a keen interest in the wellbeing of elite sports men and women of all ages, from grass roots level through to the professional, and particularly the transition period out of sport. Jemma works hard to create a warm, safe, and non-judgemental space for clients to explore their unique challenges and struggles. She utilises a person-centered approach to support clients’ wellbeing and facilitate growth. She draws upon a variety of approaches, including CBT, ACT, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Schema Therapy approaches to assist clients’ to identify and draw on their own strengths to progress towards their goals. Jemma is one of our clinicians who support our psychologists with peer supervision.

Siew Lan Ho

Clinical Psychologist

Siew Lan is a registered Clinical Psychologist working full-time in private practice. She completed her Master of Applied Psychology (Clinical) at Murdoch University in 2014. Siew Lan works mainly with adults and older adolescents (16 +), with a special interest in working with interpersonal difficulties, relational issues, complex trauma and personality disorders. She primarily practices from a trauma-informed care framework and has a process-oriented approach based on Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and is guided by Attachment-based approach. When appropriate, Siew Lan also incorporates other evidence-based interventions such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Schema Therapy. Siew Lan is committed to providing a non-judgmental and supportive space for her patients. Recognizing that each individual is unique, Siew Lan offers a tailored approach to each patient, where they can feel heard and empowered, and to build on their emotional resilience as they navigate their personal challenges in their lives.

Tracey Innes McCracken

Registered Psychologist

Tracey is a registered psychologist with over 10 years experience in the non-for-profit and private sector. She has clinical experience working with a wide range of presenting concerns and is available to support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, family domestic violence, interpersonal and relationship issues, stress, and adjustment difficulties. Tracey also has extensive experience working with individuals and their loved ones who are affected by substance use. Tracey brings a warm, down to earth presence and values the importance of creating a safe, non-judgemental space for clients to explore their personal challenges and concerns. Understanding that each person is unique, Tracey works collaboratively with her clients assisting them to reach their desired outcomes and goals. Passionate about improving well-being and creating lasting change, Tracey utilises a number of different therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Self-Compassion Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based interventions.

Angela Moran

Clinical Psychology Registrar

Angela is a Clinical Psychology Registrar, she works with children, adolescents, adults. She has experience working with clients across a range of mental health concerns including anxiety disorders, depression, health and illness anxiety, emotion regulation difficulties, behavioural issues, grief and loss, stress, interpersonal and relationship issues, family and parenting challenges and adjustment to life changes. She has a particular interest in the link between physical and psychological health and is passionate about helping people improve their well-being and quality of life.  Angela provides a safe, respectful, non-judgemental space for clients to explore and better understand their mental health concerns. She works collaboratively with her clients to establish treatment goals and utilises evidence based therapies to tailor individualised treatment plans. Angela draws on a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Attachment based interventions; Family Systems Therapy; Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT); and Brief Psychodynamic Therapy. 

Steven Skinner

Registered Psychologist

Steve is a registered Psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.  He helps people dealing with depression, anxiety, stress as well as post-traumatic stress.  As well as supporting people and their families through psychology, he has had a career in demanding industrial roles alongside a wide variety of people and cultures, in offices and remote locations in Australia and overseas. Steve believes that supporting people towards wellbeing begins with listening carefully and understanding their strengths, needs and situations. He coaches clients in achieving their goals  with therapies that have proven track records. These include cognitive behavioural therapy, behavioural therapy, mindfulness and psychoeducation

Kara Travouillon

B.A (Psych), GradDipSci (Psych), PostGradDip App Psych

Kara is a patient, compassionate and understanding Psychologist with an aim to provide a safe space to enable therapeutic change. She is enthusiastic and dedicated to fostering positive relationships with her clients. Kara is committed to working collaboratively with you, and the type of therapy used in her sessions is always dependent on your presenting issues. Kara welcomes any feedback and encourages client involvement to shape the approach of the therapy and ensure you get what you want from your counselling sessions. You are likely to find Kara unassuming, kind and caring. Kara is comfortable working across all age groups, from children to adults and couples. She is available to support you to deal with a wide range of difficulties and concerns, including depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, relationships and workplace difficulties. Her main therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy and Mindfulness. Kara is also a qualified Circle of Security Parenting Program Facilitator. Kara is one of our clinicians who support our psychologists with peer supervision

Nicola Woodin

Clinical Psychologist

Nicola has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for almost 20 years – in Australia and South Africa, within different settings including hospitals, prison and non-governmental organisations. She has worked with many diverse cultural and language groups, side by side with traditional healers and community leaders. The empowering principles of Community Psychology have inspired and directed Nicola's approaches and interests. Nicola draws on a variety of psychological techniques, depending on clients’ individual needs and goals. These include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), Heart-centred Hypnotherapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Sensorimotor Art Therapy, Mindfulness and other evidence-based modalities. Nicola has a passion for work with trauma, notably gender-based violence.
