Kim is a clinical psychologist registrar dedicated to delivering client-centred care and forming a strong therapeutic relationship with individuals across the lifespan. She has a background in delivering therapeutic care to children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various degrees of complexity with their mental health. Kim is passionate about helping individuals navigate and manage the challenges life presents. She has a professional interest in working with individuals who are experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including interpersonal difficulties, low self-esteem, grief and loss, stress and anger management, mood disorders, anxiety and phobias, adjustment disorders, delusional disorders, unresolved trauma, self-harm, chronic pain, as well as addiction. In her professional work, Kim prioritises the invaluable nature of a therapeutic relationship and thus is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental, and respectful space for individuals to explore their current difficulties and past experiences. Kim draws upon diverse evidence-based therapeutic modalities to cater to individual needs and therapy goals including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Informed Therapy, Compassion-focused Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment-based Therapy, and EMDR.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, working out at the gym, and anything to do with food!
