Rose is a registered psychologist with experience working with adults and children. She does therapeutic work across a range of presentations, including depression and anxiety symptoms, grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, sexuality and identity struggles. From her background in neurophysiology research, Rose is interested in working with older adults going through life transitions and interpersonal struggles, as well as adults of all ages who want to know themselves a little better. She enjoys engaging with first-time therapy goers or people wanting to try something new. She aims to develop therapeutic relationships with clients that are warm, trusting, and a safe experience. Rose utilises approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Gottman Couples Therapy.
Rose also has experience working in school settings, assessing children’s cognitive profiles and helping improve their learning adjustments. She enjoys making the cognitive assessment process a fun and carefree process for children, who often ask to come back for more games! Rose takes on a holistic approach to cognitive profiles, where a child’s ability is presented more as a profile of strengths and weaknesses in order to empower a child to lean on their strengths and be proud of their own way of thinking and learning.
Rose is available for children’s cognitive assessments.
